LUMSDALE GLASS is a traditional glass blowing studio based in the beautiful Lumsdale Valley, near Matlock in Derbyshire.

Glass maker Jonathan Abbott works in our hot glass studio, using high quality and recycled materials. Molten glass is manipulated and transformed into beautiful, individually blown and hand finished pieces.

Jonathan’s work includes functional, colourful vases and tableware, inspired by simple form and the natural aesthetics of handblown glass. Each piece is completely unique and handcrafted using traditional glassmaking techniques.
